Lebanon

Lebanon is a small country on the eastern Mediterranean, where a narrow coastal plain rises quickly toward the Lebanon Mountains. Beyond the high ridges lies the Bekaa Valley, followed by the parallel Anti-Lebanon range in the east. Its compact landscape includes limestone peaks, cedar forests, river valleys, and a coastline of rocky headlands and sandy bays.
