About
Malaysia lies in Southeast Asia, with one part on the Malay Peninsula and another on the island of Borneo, separated by the South China Sea. Much of the country is covered by tropical rainforest, with mountain ranges, limestone caves, mangrove coasts, and long sandy beaches. Mount Kinabalu rises above northern Borneo, while rivers wind through the forested interior and out towards the sea.
