Qatar

Qatar occupies a small peninsula on the eastern side of the Arabian Peninsula, with the sea surrounding it on three sides. Most of the land is low and flat, with limestone plains, gravel stretches, and sand dunes shaping the interior. Along the coast, shallow bays, tidal flats, and mangroves meet the water, while the dunes around Khor Al Adaid descend directly to an inland lagoon in the south.
