Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia covers most of the Arabian Peninsula, with coastlines on the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf. Vast deserts dominate the interior, including a large part of the Rub' al Khali, one of the largest continuous sand deserts in the world. Along the west, the Hejaz and Asir mountains rise above narrow coastal plains, while volcanic fields, rocky plateaus, and scattered oases add further variety.
