Tajikistan

Tajikistan is a landlocked country in Central Asia, with mountains covering most of its territory. The Pamir Mountains rise across the east, while the Fann Mountains, deep valleys, and high-altitude lakes shape the west and centre. Glaciers and mountain snow feed the Panj and Vakhsh rivers, which pass through narrow valleys before meeting to form the Amu Darya.
