Ukraine

Ukraine lies in Eastern Europe, where broad plains and rolling uplands cover much of the country. The Dnipro flows south through its centre towards the Black Sea, while the Carpathian Mountains rise in the west. Its landscapes also include the forested north, fertile steppe, river valleys, wetlands, sandy shores, and coastal lagoons in the south.
