Mexico

Mexico stretches across southern North America, between the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean Sea, with the Baja California Peninsula extending along its northwest coast. The Sierra Madre ranges frame a high central plateau, while a volcanic belt crosses the country from west to east. Its landscapes include the Sonoran and Chihuahuan deserts, tropical forests in the south, and the limestone plains and cenotes of the Yucatán Peninsula.
