Fiji is an archipelago of more than 300 islands in the South Pacific, with most of its land found on Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Both main islands have mountainous interiors, river valleys, and coastal plains, while smaller islands are scattered across the surrounding sea. Coral reefs, lagoons, mangroves, and sandy coastlines shape much of the landscape around the islands.
