Bahamas

The Bahamas is an archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, southeast of Florida and north of Cuba, made up of hundreds of low-lying islands and cays. Much of the country rests on broad, shallow limestone banks, giving the surrounding water its distinctive shifts from pale turquoise to deep blue. Andros, the largest island, is known for its blue holes, tidal creeks, pine forests, and extensive barrier reef.
