Belize

Belize lies on the Caribbean coast of Central America, with low coastal plains rising towards forested hills in the south and west. Offshore, the Belize Barrier Reef runs along much of the coast, surrounded by coral islands, lagoons, and the Great Blue Hole. Inland, rivers cross broad tropical forests, while the Maya Mountains form the country’s most rugged terrain.
