Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia is a volcanic island in the eastern Caribbean, with a mountainous interior covered by tropical forest. The Pitons rise steeply beside the sea on the southwest coast, while valleys, rivers, and waterfalls cut through the surrounding landscape. Sandy bays line parts of the coast, while coral reefs and seagrass beds occur in the waters around the island.
