Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago lies in the southern Caribbean, just off the northeastern coast of Venezuela. Trinidad, the larger island, includes the Northern Range, broad plains, and mangrove wetlands, while smaller Tobago is crossed by the forested Main Ridge. Its coastline combines sheltered bays, sandy beaches, and coral reefs, with Buccoo Reef off Tobago’s southwest shore and the Caroni Swamp on Trinidad’s western side.
