British Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands form a group of Caribbean islands east of Puerto Rico, scattered across the northern Leeward Islands. Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and most of the smaller islands have steep, rocky interiors, while low-lying Anegada is built from coral and limestone. Narrow channels separate the islands, and their shores include sheltered bays, sandy beaches, mangroves and surrounding coral reefs.
