Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast lies in West Africa, with a coastline of sandy beaches, lagoons, and wetlands along the Gulf of Guinea. Tropical forests cover much of the south, while the land becomes drier and opens into broad savannas toward the north. The Bandama and Comoé rivers cross the country, and the western highlands rise to Mount Nimba, its highest point.
