Egypt

Egypt lies in northeastern Africa, where the Nile flows north through the desert before spreading into a broad delta on the Mediterranean coast. Most of the country is covered by the Sahara, while the Sinai Peninsula connects Africa and Asia between the gulfs of Suez and Aqaba. The pyramids of Giza stand near the Nile Valley, and coral reefs line parts of the Red Sea coast.
