Lesotho

Lesotho is a high-altitude country in Southern Africa, with much of its landscape formed by the Maloti Mountains and broad upland valleys. The Drakensberg rises along the eastern edge, where Thabana Ntlenyana is the highest peak in southern Africa. Rivers including the Senqu cut through deep gorges and descend towards the lower western plains, while snow often covers the higher slopes in winter.
