Malawi

Malawi is a long, narrow country in southeastern Africa, shaped by the Great Rift Valley and the waters of Lake Malawi. The lake fills much of its eastern side and drains south through the Shire River, while plateaus and highlands rise across the interior. Its landscapes range from the broad Nyika Plateau in the north to the steep peaks of Mount Mulanje in the south.
