Niger

Niger lies in West Africa, with the Sahara covering much of its northern territory and the Sahel stretching across the south. The Aïr Mountains rise above the surrounding desert, while the Ténéré forms a broad expanse of dunes and rocky plains. In the southwest, the Niger River curves through a greener landscape of wetlands and seasonal grasslands.
