Seychelles

Seychelles lies in the western Indian Ocean and consists of 115 islands spread across a wide area north-east of Madagascar. The inner islands, including Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, are formed from ancient granite, with steep green interiors and narrow coastal plains. Farther out, low coral islands and atolls rise only slightly above the sea, surrounded by reefs, lagoons and shallow banks.
