Sudan

Sudan stretches across northeastern Africa, with the Nile running north through broad plains and desert landscapes. The Blue and White Nile meet at Khartoum, while the Nubian Desert covers much of the north and the Red Sea lines the eastern coast. Farther west, the Marrah Mountains rise above the surrounding plateau, with cooler conditions and more rugged terrain.
