Chad

Chad lies in north-central Africa, with the Sahara covering much of the north and the greener savannas of the south. The Sahel forms a broad transition between them, while the Chari and Logone rivers flow towards Lake Chad in the west. The Tibesti Mountains rise from the northern desert, and the sandstone formations of the Ennedi Plateau shape the east.
