Timor Leste

Timor-Leste lies in Southeast Asia, with most of its land on the island of Timor and the smaller islands of Atauro and Jaco. A rugged mountain chain runs through its interior, rising to Mount Ramelau, while short rivers descend through steep valleys towards the coast. The north has narrow coastal plains and a drier landscape, while broader plains and greener forests are found along parts of the south.
