Belgium

Belgium lies in Western Europe, with a short North Sea coast and low, flat plains across much of the north. The land rises through the central plateau to the wooded hills and river valleys of the Ardennes in the southeast. The Meuse and Scheldt are its main rivers, while the coastal dunes and wetlands form a distinct landscape along the sea.
