Finland

Finland lies in Northern Europe, between the Gulf of Bothnia and the Gulf of Finland, with a coastline broken into thousands of islands. Forests and lakes cover much of the country, including Saimaa, its largest lake, while low hills and broad wetlands shape the interior. In the north, Lapland rises into open fells, where long winter nights often bring views of the northern lights.
