Gibraltar

Gibraltar lies at the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula, where the narrow Strait of Gibraltar links the Atlantic Ocean with the Mediterranean Sea. Most of its small land area is dominated by the Rock of Gibraltar, a steep limestone ridge rising above the surrounding coast. Cliffs line much of its eastern side, while caves and a narrow strip of flatter ground shape the landscape below.
