Iceland

Iceland is a volcanic island in the North Atlantic, just south of the Arctic Circle. Glaciers, lava fields and mountain ranges cover much of the interior, while rivers and waterfalls run towards a coastline cut by bays and fjords. Geothermal areas, hot springs and black-sand beaches reflect the forces that continue to shape the island.
