Lithuania

Lithuania lies on the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea, where a mostly low-lying landscape meets a short, sandy coastline. Forests, lakes, wetlands, and gently rolling hills cover much of the country, while the Nemunas is its largest river. Along the coast, the narrow Curonian Spit separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic and is lined with high dunes and pine forests.
