Monaco

Monaco lies on the Mediterranean coast of Western Europe, where steep hills descend towards the Ligurian Sea. Its narrow territory is bordered by France on three sides and follows a series of slopes and rocky headlands above the shoreline. The promontory of Monaco-Ville overlooks the sea, while Port Hercules and Larvotto Beach mark different parts of the country’s short coastline.
