Malta

Malta is a small archipelago in the central Mediterranean, made up of the islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino, along with several smaller islets. Its limestone coastline is shaped by sheltered bays, natural harbours, sea caves and steep cliffs. Inland, the terrain is mostly low and gently rolling, with terraced fields and no permanent rivers or lakes.
