Norway

Norway is a long, narrow country in Northern Europe, with a deeply indented coastline facing the North Atlantic and Norwegian Sea. Steep mountains, broad plateaus and glaciers shape much of the landscape, while fjords such as Sognefjord and Geirangerfjord reach far inland between high cliffs. In the north, the Lofoten Islands rise sharply from the sea, and areas above the Arctic Circle experience the midnight sun in summer.
