Kosovo

Kosovo lies in the central Balkans, with broad plains surrounded by mountain ranges. The Šar Mountains rise in the south, while the Accursed Mountains form a rugged landscape in the west. Rivers including the White Drin, Ibar, and Sitnica cross its valleys and plains, and mountain lakes, forests, and limestone gorges add further variety to the terrain.
