Saint Martin

Saint Martin lies in the northeastern Caribbean, where low hills rise between sheltered bays and stretches of pale sand. Pic Paradis is the highest point, and short valleys descend towards mangroves, salt ponds, and the island’s indented coast. The large Simpson Bay Lagoon shapes the southwest, while the Atlantic-facing shoreline is more exposed to wind and waves than the calmer Caribbean side.
