Niue

Niue is a raised coral island in the South Pacific, with a broad limestone plateau rising above a narrow coastal terrace. Steep cliffs, caves, and deep chasms shape much of its shoreline, while a coral reef closely surrounds the island. There are no permanent rivers or lakes, and rainwater filters through the porous rock into underground freshwater reserves.
